Restoration of a Soviet laboratory cabinet.
Most of the elements were completely restored, with the exception of the ‘roof’, on which flowers apparently stood in Soviet times. We replaced it with a modern, but natural cabinet material: plywood + beech veneer
The handles are brass, from the same era. Purchased from an antique store on Marata Street.
Restoration work is more and longer than making an object from scratch.
But, we are in love with the design of that era, and giving an object a second life is an undoubted pleasure!
