Petersburg is rich in apartments with high ceilings. And high ceilings are not only more “air” in the room, but also the ability to equip additional space – the second level, freeing up space at the bottom. For compact spaces, this is an absolutely indispensable solution.
This time again, Petrogradka: a small studio apartment.
We have proposed a project that includes a steel staircase, a convenient handrail, a second-level fencing, and a collapsible rack occupying the space under the stairs. To support the Scandinavian interior style conceived by the owners, all metal structures were painted with matt white powder paint.
Tip: Using steel for the supporting structure of the second levels and loft beds allows you to create more visually lighter objects that do not clutter up the space.
